Easter to Christmas: Friday and Saturday 10am to 5pm
Christmas to Easter: open by arrangement, please phone

Bitter Beck Pottery welcomes visitors. If our regular opening hours are not convenient then please phone and we will do our best to arrange a time for you to visit.

Directions

Cockermouth is just off the A66 about half way between Keswick and Workington. From the M6 junction 40, take the A66 towards Workington, passing under the mountains of Blencathra and Skiddaw on the right, and then up the west side of Bassenthwaite Lake.

Follow the signs into Cockermouth.

Pass along Main Street and over the bridge, then turn right into Market Place. The pottery is on the right. There are three car parks nearby and some street parking (ask me for a disk).
